Mission Statement:

To create theatrical productions to a professional level for our contemporary world that facilitates discussions and leaves audiences more artistically fulfilled, all while compensating artists for their hard work.

Why Penguin?

Penguins serve not only as our mascot but also as our inspiration. They are stoic and endlessly hardworking, putting everything they have into the teamwork and community they are a part of. At the same time, they are absurd and ridiculous, waddling with the best of them. We strive to embody both sides of the penguin, hardworking and fun-loving!

About the Company

Penguin Productions is a local non-profit theatre company located just outside of Newberg, Oregon. Since our first season in 2017, we have strived to entertain and inspire our community by producing theater for a contemporary world. To that end, we are dedicated to creating a diverse ensemble of artists and technicians for each season. Currently operating on an outdoor stage nestled in a field of hazelnut trees, Penguin Productions offers professional-quality shows in the heart of scenic wine country.
